Frogging mostly is what I like to fish. But I will throw any topwater that is needed. But love the frog.

What is the best topwater lake in the area.

Picked up a Dobyns fury 735 for my new frog rod. I am really loving it so far.

Dang man I never caught anything that big when I was stationed there. Biggest bass I caught was 5 lbs 9 oz. And to this day still my PB. Awesome job on catching those hogs.

Caught this nice one on gardner lake. Throwing an watermelon slice trick worm. Was a nice catch in the kayak.

The same thing happen to me. I was not catching anything. Put the NED rig on for the first time and caught 5. They were all smaller but I would rather catch 5 small then none at all.

I found the issue. This little black piece that goes in the pinion gear (I think it is the pinion shaft)is broke. It looks like it was snapped. Now I just have to get a new one and I should be back in business.

Does anyone in the Kansas City area work on reels. I bought a used reel a while ago and I just bought a rod to put it on, well I just found out the tension knob does not work. The only way to use the reel is have the brakes all the way on 10 and even still I have to use alot of thumb just to keep it from backlashing. Thank you for any help.

Caught 3 small ones on gardner this morning one on a Texas rigged fattyz and two on top water frog. I love frog fishing, so much fun.

Some good looking fish bluebasser. I caught one about the same size. It was second fish caught on the lake and my second from my new kayak. I thought I recognized your boat on the lake.

Hey Ksbassman95. I am going to be moving to gardner and living on gardner lake and will be there on the 23rd. If you ever want to meet up and fish off the dock in the back yard you are more then welcome. It will great to meet up with other people that fish.

Now I really can't wait to get there and start fishing. I just purchased a kayak also so I will be able to get on the water and not just the bank. Those are some nice looking fish bluebasser.
