Florida Guys Check In Here.
Yeh man. It was great. I was born and raised there. Left for college at 18. Parents still live there. My dad was a commercial fisherman before he retired. Mainly kingfish but some trout too. I fished all the flats in the Indian river lagoon.

My biggest snook was 22lbs out of the Sebastian Inlet. I've caught a 40lb red from there as well. I've seen some other people off the pier catch snook that might have gone 40 but weren't verified. I miss living in Sebastian. Best fishing in Florida(minus the keys) for salt and freshwater.

Jacksonville, Fl Small Lakes
Just letting everyone on this forum in the Jacksonville area know my buddy and I have been fishing Sundays lately and doing really well even with the high temps. Last week we caught about 20 fish between the 2 of us and each caught our new personal bests. It was a great day. I try and stay around the Southside area because I hate to drive too far and be unproductive. Got a lake at my shop with great numbers and a few verified 6lbers in it. Good thing is there are only about 2 people who fish it because you have to have a key card to get in. Just bought a 13ft square back canoe and having some work done to add fiberglass benches and storage boxes. Just need to get the trolling motor. Can't wait to get her in the water in these small ponds and lakes. Always looking for new fishing buddies willing to meet up. I like early mornings usually. PM me for contact info if you're interested in swapping spots or meeting up.

I'm in Jacksonville. Been slaying the bass on Zoom Ol' Mag II Watermelon Red worms. It's a 9.5 inch curly tail and it has been doing the trick great. Also, catching some good numbers in the mornings on Rubber frogs. Went fishing last weekend and a buddy and I racked up 20+ bass with three being in the 8-12lb range in about 7-8 hours of fishing time. I've caught a few on the watermelon red senkos too. I texas rig them with a 1/8 or 1/4oz bullet weight.
