Bass fishing in Zimbabwe
Pleasure A-jay, glad you enjoyed it. It is an insane place full of big big bass surrounded by a game park full of wildlife. Would be awesome to come over to the states one day and do some fishing there!

Bass fishing in Zimbabwe
Thanks Bluebasser89. Hahaha fishinfriend all for the effect but your not the first to say so! Still a rookie video editor but hopefully better things to come. It is jig heaven the lake is full of crawfish but nothing beats a spinnerbait, frog and spook.

Bass fishing in Zimbabwe
I havn't been on the forum for a while but when I joined there was some interest in what the fishing is like in Zimbabwe, Africa. I put together a short video on a recent trip that I thought might be worth sharing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=024z-PYkJ5g

New From Zimbabwe, Africa.
We fish off exactly the same boats as you guys in the States. There are a few quality bass boats built here such as Ruffneck boats and I fish off a Pirahna with a 115 Mercury on the back also built here in Zim. Skeeters, Tritons etc are available through agents in South Africa but are generally very pricey. Other than that rods, reels everything else is pretty much exactly the same as what is available elsewhere although A rigs and swimbaits which seem to be the craze everywhere else havnt taken off here yet. Big bass are still more than willing to eat a big jig, senko or spinnerbait which are cheaper. I must say I am very impressed with how friendly and welcoming people are on this site especially to someone not from your neck of the woods. And thanks for the accolades on the picture the spawn is starting soon down here so lets hope a few double digits will make an appearance!

New From Zimbabwe, Africa.
Hello everyone. I've been reading articles on this site for a while but have just decided to join and am really looking forward to learning as much as I can as well as helping where I can. In case anyone is wondering, the bass fishing in Zimbabwe is awesome and popular and with very little pressure and the perfect climate, similar to Texas and Florida I would imagine, the bass grow big! Anyways thanks for having me. Sean.
