  1. These things are absolutely tough enough for some rivers, lakes and ponds. My bass raider is also a big conversation starter. I have started leaving a half hour earlier than I want to be on the water to account for all of the people asking about it. First time I've been slightly excited for winter. Finally have time to do some more mods.
  2. Awesome. I inherited a tackle box of stuff from my grandpa and dont even know what half of the stuff is. There is a frog in there that I'll try this weekend. Thanks
  3. On my third try I was finally able to get my Bass Raider out for more than a half hour. first time I got called into work and the second time I blew the inline fuse 10 feet from the dock. I could not be happier with this boat. As a newbie to bass fishing I caught a little guy but it made me even more excited to stay on the hunt for a monster. I'm sure I could find a post related to my question but thought I would ask it here anyways. What do you guys recommend for fishing in an area with a lot of lily pads?I caught this one with a Berkeley shad but I kept getting hung up on pads.
  4. Dang. That is a slick rudder but I was really hoping to hear that it didn't make much of a difference. Lol I guess I will have to get my crap together and make a rudder.
  5. Wouldnt the same be true of the front end though? If the battery, motor, and myself are in the back would it lift the front too much? if the tm is up front i can at least seperate my weight from the battery.
  6. TNReb, I am hoping to getmy rig out for the first time this week. Is it mmanageable without a rudder? Some of the previous posts have me concerned about having the TM up front without one.
  7. Yeah, I was hoping for an easy fix but should have known better. This may be a goofy question, but do you guys leave the seats on the boat when you are transporting it? also was wondering if putting the trolling motor on the front really makes that much of a difference in its performance.
  8. Does anyone have an opinion or experience with a rudder that mounts on the shaft of the TM? I have the motor up front and found this on ebay. It seems like it might be more convenient than trying to fabricate one for the rear myself.
