i ordered mine straight from Pelican. free shipping and it only took like 3 days to get them.

Ok, so I checked my wiring and apparently the FF ground had come loose. So I secured the ground and it works perfectly now. So we are ready to go test out the complete setup now. Thanks guys for walking me through this cause I was really scratching my head at this. Happy Fishing.

Nice to hear everything worked correctly. Will have to figure out what I did wrong to get corrected. I agree that the Bigfoot switch is a game changer. I loved using mine on Saturday. Just bummed I didn't get to use my FF. I'll get it ironed out this week so I can try it Saturday.

I appreciate the photo, pretty sure I did mine the same way. I will look at it and redo it if need be. How did you mount your transducer?

I have the FF spliced in at the trolling motor to the plug. When I activate the Bigfoot switch the FF turns off

Finally got my floor installed and my Big Foot switch installed this week. Took it out this morning to try everything out, AWESOME. Gotta re-wire my Lawrance Fish Finder now cause I had it grounded through the trolling motor plug but when I hit the Bigfoot switch it shuts off. Now I have to decide if I want to add an additional battery for just the Fish Finder or run it off my regular battery. Any suggestions?

the load weight is only for a max of 100lbs. is that strong enough to hold a 10e?

I made mine from a piece of Lexan from an old racecar window.

Took the boat out on Saturday. Very nice boat, had a trolling motor on the front and back. Primary on front, rear one just to help prevent swing.... didn't work like I hoped. Pretty windy, decided to make a rudder for it. Cant wait to try it now with the rudder attached.

I'd like to find one here in Central Ohio too.

I'm finally getting my 10E out Saturday for the first time since getting it. I am totally stoked. Just hope it floats and doesn't have any leaks.

Ok, I have an older battery that I have not trusted to use. Is there was way to test it before taking it to the lake and getting stranded? Also, what is the best size battery to last all day and what are most of you guys using Brand wise.

Where did you get your paddle mounts from. I have been looking for them for a while now.

Well Academy Sports shipped the seat, however they didn't ship the frame. I contacted them and they said the frame was on backorder and they're not sure when it will be in. Then she said that if it doesn't come in by the end of the week they will probably cancel the order. So now, I have to wait and see if they get one in, then if they don't I;; have to order one from somewhere else and pay more for it and lose a weekend fishing because of the wait.

I looked on there site Saturday and they said they were currently unavailable for online purchase. Talked to one of their reps and they said they couldn't help. So I looked again yesterday and they were available so I ordered one and a seat. So hopefully I will get them this week and be fishing this weekend. Thanks for all your suggestions.

Does anyone know where I can pick up a second seat frame for my Pelican 10E? I bought it used and it only had on seat. Pelican wants $65 for just the frame. Is there any place cheaper out there? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
