  1. Gotta be with my fishing partner. Can't have memories to share by yourself
  2. So what's the word on this new line of lures? I haven't heard too much about em and was wondering are they any good and what benefits do they offer with them being glass?
  3. My father has always taught me to cast on the backside of cover. So for example, if floating down stream, cast on the backside of a log and watch what happens. I've mainly caught white bass on the river and never really caught any eye openers for largemouths on a river, but you can still catch em and have a blast. Creature baits seem to work miracles on many rivers.
  4. Zoom trickworm watermelon red
  5. Getting ready to rip some lips in the morning with the obvious lure of choice. The tried and true buzzer. I've been waiting all year for the buzzer to finally kick in.
  6. I say this because it's true for the ponds I've been to. A buzzbait or popper works great only because it gets above all the limbs and hang ups on the bottom. If I fish the bottom, I almost always go with a jig and pig or Texas rig weightless worm. Most of the time, it's more of a stained water, but I have seen em clear. Good fishin to ya
  7. Worst thing had to be when me and my buddy were trolling for crappie and bass fishing on the side when I happened to cast my crappie rod into the water instead of my lure. Rod goes in the water and line wraps around the prop... That was a bad event but I ended up getting lucky and happened to have my rod tangled up enough to get it back
  8. Gotta go with the buzzbait in the early morning. When it gets a little warmer in the afternoon, gotta pick up the Carolina rig. Late in the evening, roll on with buzzbait again.
