Mark switched to an aluminum boat on Lake Dardanelle in order to get under/through a bridge a few years ago. He was blindly flipping a tube to bedding fish in that back water area. It was an Elite event, and since then BASS has changed the rules requiring an angler to fish the entire season in the boat he starts the year in. I say boo to that! He outsmarted the best and they went to crying foul like a bunch of babies! Any one of those guys could've pulled that off if they'd have thought outside of the box, it's not like he lived there and had an unfair advantage. But there were some (one in mind) very prominent anglers who had a run at the win, and I'd bet my gear that they/he was sore to lose like that. These guys are the best of the best, let em fish in a kayak if that's what it takes to win!
