  1. Hey Sam, Those are easy ones! I went to Jesuit High School on Carrolton (Mid City). I'll tkae my powered sugar any day unless im having a Tastee doughnut run. Too bad McKenzies went out of business (they had the best classic King cake). Love old Morgus...watched him and Chopsley growing up. And you know I eat me some red bugs. In fact I peel em standing up so I can work the table faster Good to meet you guys!
  2. Afternoon all, Like the title says, living in the DFW area since 2005. Prior to I was a 3rd generation coon ass born and raised in New Orleans. Spent my life fishing the coast for red and specks. Katrina put a kink in things around 2005 and we relocated to Dallas. Money was too good to go back. I fished 50 days a year till I moved to Texas. Going from salt to fresh was just not something I ever wanted to consider. Kiddie pools (thats what I call em) just didn't interest me and the fact that all but like one are man made just stripped the passion away for me. 8 years later...I can't take it anymore. I hear fishing down in the DFW is great for Crappie, Bass, Stripers and Cats. Figure its time to stop being a water snob and get back out there. Sadly I know NOTHING about fresh water fishing. I was going to throw a tackle box together and head out to test my luck. If you guys had to list 4 or 5 "must have lures" to have in my box for Bass and Crappie, what would you recommend? Over in the Salt Water world we had some pretty universal "go to" lures and bait. Thinking Freshwater has to have something similiar. Thanks for all your help! CE
