Anyone have any experience on Shawnee State Lake or Critzer? They are both about the same travel time from KC, which ones a better choice? We havent fished either one. Any opionions?

Hey everyone, Just found this site today, lots of great info on here! My brother and I like fishing the state and county lakes in and around MO-KS. We fish Miami County, Mound City and Middle Creek quite a bit. Miami County is our fav, but the weeds are really bad right now. We are thinking of trying out Shawnee State Lake or Critzer tomorrow. I looked through the post here and saw a few mentions on both lakes, but not a whole lot. You all seem to like the same kind of fishing we do so thought I would ask.
