Lipless Crank/booyah Pad Crasher
Not necessarily. Perhaps I read too many sites and too many different magazines but I feel like I am always coming across advice on "What to throw", "What not to throw", "What colors to use", "The only bait you'll need in the summer", etc. As a novice, I just wanted to see what people thought. I am here to learn.

Beginner Casting Rod & Reel Combo
In Montgomery County. The Nock is tough (in my experience). Whereabouts do you live? I've fished Nockamixon from the fishing pier. Have a small Porta-Bote now so may have to give it a try again. Sure would be fun to hook into one of those stripers.

Carolina Rigs
Hey gang, New fisherman and new to the forums. Curious to try a Carolina rig this weekend. Using a medium action rod, fishing in Eastern PA, temp looks to be about 88. Would love some advice on sinker weight, hook size and a good bait to try. Any beginner tips in fishing the rig? Let it rest on the bottom? Twitch? Many thanks in advance for your insight and patience with a newbie. PaB74
