  1. Thanks for the info. I will look into all those spots. I have my eye on Lake Purdy since its so close. Hoping to find a place to put it. Ive never heard of inland lake. I will be sure to check it out as well!!!
  2. Been fishing for about 18 months, seem to love it more and more each time I go out. Spending a couple yrs in AL for grad school and then will be heading back home to GA. I would to hear from anyone who lives in AL and could help me out with advice, tips, etc. Trying to learn as much as possible. Great site! TJ
  3. Hey guys, I just moved to Birmingham from Georgia and i was trying to find some places to fish. I do not have a boat so I will be doing mostly bank fishing. Looking into getting a kayak, but do not have one at the moment. Really looking for smaller lakes, ponds, etc that you guys may know of. Been searching around and have only identified Oak Mountain State Park, and possibly lake Purdy (if I can find a spot to fish thats not near that place off 119). Any info would be really helpful. Try to be as specific as possible with any directions as my Birmingham mind map isnt so great yet. Thanks TJ
