  1. Well I only have 1/4 oz spinnerbaits but am fishing deeper water tomorrow and want them to sink faster
  2. Can I use bullet weights with spinnerbaits?
  3. Can I use bullet weights with a spinner if I only have 1/4 oz spinners and want some more weight?
  4. What length senkos should is use?
  5. Being new to bass fishing I am overwhelmed by the amount of options there are to catch them. Crankbaits, spinnerbaits, millions of soft plastics, etc. Right now I just want to catch some fish. I don't care the size so much but just want some fish. I only fish from the shore and have a medium 6'6 spinning rod. The lake is stained with maybe a foot of visibility on a good day and there is a slight current. The floor has almost no vegetation and is almost completely rocks. What's the easiest, low skill lev way for me to catch some bass this time of year in these condition? Thanks, Christian
  6. Can I use 15# test mono on a MH/F rod to fish with frogs? Or is this too weak?
  7. I am new to the sport so I will probably just get a good mono as mentioned above. What are some good brands?
  8. Even if the rod says 10-20lb line on it?
  9. I just got a new 6.4:1 Abu Garcia bait caster and a MH/F rod for heavier lures like spinnerbaits and frogs. I would like your guys' opinions on the line I should put on it. Thanks
  10. What do you guys think about this for a beginner combo? Is it worth it? or should I just save for a separate rod and reel combo? http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=12661238
  11. Thanks for the advice guys, I think this answers all my questions!
  12. Great advice above, much appreciated. Another thought, if Im bank fishing with lures about 1/8oz to 3/4oz max should i use a baitcaster or spinning rod?
