    Thank you for the replies guys i appreciate it. The reel is a bass pro shops mega cast. It is quite a fe years old so being worn out does not surprise me. Thank you all.

    My baitcating reel has recently started having trouble reeling in line properly on the spool. The retriever gets stuck on one side of he reel and will not feed the line evenly out on the spool. Any ideas on how to fix this problem? Any advice would be helpful. Thank you. Kris.
