spinnerbaits are my number one bait,you have to throw them at the right time tho.The very best time is when you have cloud cover,light rain or some wind,they are at thier very best with a ripple on the water.On clear blubird days all you are doing is washing them off.As for crankbaits get youself a plug saver at BPS they cost about six bucks,I'v saved countless dollars with one.If you don't throw into some kind of cover you might as well not throw at all.Hope this helps.
