I pretty much always just use the winch when I am putting my bass boat on the trailer unless the ramp is real busy or no docks in then I will powerload. The way my trailer is I just back it pretty far in the water and float my boat right on it barley haft use the winch. The way I do it its pretty much just as fast as powerloading. I have never had any issues doing it that way.

I think I'll go next Sunday morning as long as it is not storming bad. Thanks for the information.

I'd appreciate that. Just trying to figure out if I would have a hard time launching back a few years ago when it was real dry I couldn't get my boat off the trailer but I had a different boat back then.

Anyone fish lake Alice recently? If so how is the water level?

Fished conesus from 7:00 to 12:30 caught 8 bass had to really work for them. I mostly fished the south end get one on North end but I did not try there long. Slow day over all but it was nice to get back out on conesus been awhile since I fished conesus.

I parked on dodge road and walked that along that biking path and kept walking and trying different spots on it.

I had a little bit of time to kill today so i fished Ellicott creek I caught 3 small largemouths had a pike on but it got off.

When I fished it I fished one or the ponds off 77 maybe I'll try that one again next week.

Any of you guys fish any of the ponds in the Alabama swamps? I fished one of the ponds last year not long though but i did catch a couple bass in the little time i was at the pond. Just wondered if anyone else on here fishes them i never see anything on here about them.

Its a 18 foot stratos with a 150 on it. Its been a good boat.

I have fished bonds lake before a couple times nothing huge but there are plenty of bass at least when i fished it a couple years back I fished the big lake never tried the smaller ones. Now that i have a kayak i might give it a try again sometime maybe in the fall when i put the bass boat away then ill have more time.

Fished Chautauqua lake this weekend i have not fished the lake in years it was tough caught a few small bass but that was it everyone else i talked too wasn't doing much better.

I used to fish Alice all the time myself like Clayton said lake is a mad house on weekends way too many recreational boaters on that small of lake. When i fished the lake all the time i would fish the island and work the weedline next to that and then straight across the lake i would get some nice bass. If i had time on weekdays in the evenings i would still fish i just got sick of all the recreational boaters and stopped going been about a year since i have been there.

Hows in front of fort Niagara? Does the moss affect fishing out there i have always wanted to try it i know the lower river gets a lot of moss but since the part i want to fish is actually out in the open lake i wondered if there is any difference being so close i doubt but just figured id ask.I am more of a finger lakes fisherman never really got big into fishing around buffalo area don't why but i figure i might throw the boat in and give it a go if moss is not real bad.

Is the dock in at lake alice? I bought some new electronics for the boat and kind of want to test them out tomorrow evening at lake alice since its not too far from home.

Fished honeoye last week very slow for me I only caught one bass.

Lake Alice is in Orleans county in waterport ny.

I went to lake Alice today it was very slow almost got skunked.

Hi guys I have not fished silver in a couple years I'm thinking of giving It a try Sunday. Is there any size to the to the rockbass?

I have only had it happen at honeoye and the guy started telling me that it is illegal to to fish within 100 feet of docks and if I don't move he would call the cops on me I just told Him go ahead and kept fishing.

iv never tried waneta or lamoka always wanted to its close to 120 miles from me each way so i just stay closer and have been fishing keuka and doing great its still 100 each way but its well worth the drive. Ill be going this weekend and report after.

I fished honeoye last Saturday was pretty slow I only managed to get 4 bass I didn't stay long I went to keuka and camped there for the night then fished Sunday launched out of branchport and did decent on bass all the largemouths I cought were smaller but the smallmouth averaged around 18 inches some were bigger. I also caught some giant rock bass. It was my first Time there and got on the fish pretty easily.

Hi guys new to this site Anybody been out on honeoye latley? Im gonna give it a try sunday last fished it in late june and did good on largemouths then probally conseus next weekend. i have been fishing oneida lake the past couple weeks but thought id start fishing theese lakes again as they arent far from my house only a hour and a half.
