Lure Choice For Bass Feeding On Shad
First find out how big the shad are that the bass are feeding on. Are they tiny little guys or decent size? The reason you ask this is because you want to match your lure up to about the same size as these shad. This will help you imitate them easily. Next, the bait. For schooling bass I like the Rapala Original Floater in silver. You would pick the size based on the size of your shad. Most of the time the size 7 (2 3/4 in) works in all situations. The action is built right into the lure itself so it doesn't require any special techniques but varying up your retrieve speeds (like start, stop and quick sudden reels). I just wait till I see the bass schooling and throw it just passed them and reel over them, giving them time to strike. I hope this helps!

Why doesn't this site have its own mobile app for iOS? It would be awesome to have an app with notifications and other cool features like on this site.

Shaky Head Q's
I have some questions regarding shaky heads with worms: 1. How do you know when If bass has taken it, does it feel different than bumping over rocks? 2. Do I need a floating worm? 3. How do you set the hook? 4. Is this a good rig for beginners? Thanks, Christian

Fluke Fishing
I am new to bass fishing and decided to become a master myself. The only questions I have are: 1. What are the best brands for flukes? 2. What colors should I use in stained water? 3. What's some good ways to rig them if I'm bank fishing this time of year?

Best Lure For Beginners
I am new to bass fishing and have been doing lots of research. I've watched YouTube videos, read books, and talked to locals about a good way to start catching bass. I've tried most of them yet still am not catching bass. I fish from the bank in water with maybe a foot or 2 of visibility on a good day. I have 2 rods, a 6' medium spinning rod, and a 6'6 medium heavy baitcaster. I want to get 2 lures or rigs and stick with them till I feel I am as close to mastering them as I can. I lack the patience most of the time for senkos so what two should I pick up and stick with? Thanks, Christian
