Rev I've gotten multiple cats in that same area by casting crickets under a bobber and just letting them float all the way down the river. There is a hump that points out into the river, every time the bobber passes it, a catfish will hit it. Good luck!

Oh and I figured out that if you go to petsmart you can get Rosie's fairly cheap. They are a strain of the fathead minnow which is legal to use!

Hey thanks for responding, I just went there today with not much luck. I came in from the park entrance after you go threw a neighborhood. Its shallow enough to wade in some spots and has pretty good bank entrances. However I couldn't catch any smallmouth! I was throwing a Christmas colored tube jig texas rigged behind the rocks in the rapids and in the calm parts with no luck. I know you haven't been there, but could you recommend any tips for catching smallmouth? Thanks:)

Hi, does anyone know how to fish Kephart Bridge Landing in Leesburg, Va. I don't have a boat or kayak. so I would be fishing from shore. I'd be looking for smallmouth. Please let me know if you've fished here and caught anything. I haven't really fished for smallmouth too much, so any tips or techniques would be appreciated. I have tube jigs, bucktails, and spinners for smallmouth, I've heard these are good. Thank you in advance.

Hey I live around the Leesburg area. Anybody know of any spots? I'm new to this area.

Sorry for not getting back to you I haven't had a lot of time on my hands lately. I just went down to kipheart bridge today, but unfortunately I had no luck. Any advice? I was trying to catch smallmouth and trout. And I was using a small spinner lure with a bobber about a foot up. Are there trout in kipheart bridge? Or if there's not, what do you recommend to do for the smallmouth.

Does anyone know of some good places to fish in northern Virginia(up next to the Maryland border.) Any help would be appreciated:) Also if you know any spots to fish the major rivers like the Potomac or such. I'd be looking for carp, bass, pike, or catfish. I don't have a boat either.
