  1. I live in Mount Joy Pa. I just started fishing again after about 4 years. Before, all I would use was night crawlers. Now I am trying to get myself to a point that I no longer need to rely on live bait to catch fish. For the past 2 months I've landed 2 smallmouth. Yes 2. And 2 channel cats. 1 of each coming the same day on the susquehanna river, on a boat. I do not have boat access other than the occasional trip out with a buddy of mine. The other smallmouth was on the conestoga about a mile from safe harbor dam where it inlets to the susquehanna. The other cat was caught today, on a live minnow, on the dam. (I was jigging). 3 of the 4 fish were caught on a minnow. Does anyone know of any honey holes, or decent spots that are good for bank fishing? I've been to Falmouth, riverfront park, Columbia boat access, long level, and safe harbor. I have been having no luck what so ever. I don't know what I am doing wrong. I have topwater baits, jogs, flukes, senkos, grubs, tubes, crank baits, jerk baits... And nothing. Please someone help me... Or if anyone would be interested in giving a lesson lol. Thanks in advance for any help.
