  1. I have actually been looking at the privatewaterfishing web site for a couple of days and find it really tempting to join. i actually called and talked to a manager there about the club. I asked about just paying a fee to fish one of the lakes and he said that the try out the lake deal wasn't for that purpose unless I was planning on joining the club. i live about 50 miles west of Fort Worth and most of the lakes are in East Texas. If I lived in East Texas i would join the club in a heart beat. Even if I only got to fish the lakes a couple of times a year it would be about the same as paying for a guided fishing trip on a public lake.
  2. I am planning a trip to East Texas in a few weeks. Was wondering if anyone knows of any good trophy bass private lakes where i can pay a fee to go fishing. We will be staying near Lufkin. I know that there are supposed to be hundreds of 10 to 60 acre lakes all over East Texas and surely some of them will let a person fish for trophy bass for a fee? I know that Lufkin is near a couple of the largest public lakes in the south but I don't own a bass boat.
