    The best choice in an inexpensive rod is a Wright and McGill Skeet Reese Crankbait Rod period. It's limber and will throw a crank a mile. Brand new the are like $80.00-eBay is even cheaper. I've had many different rods and this is a quality rod that easily replaced it's more expensive counterparts.
