Im looking to buy a new rod for throwing soft plastics in grass, Not matted grass but hydrilla ect. I am confused as to what action to go with. I was either looking at a mh 7.2 1.4 to 3/4 or a heavy 1/4 to 1 ounce fast tip 7-2. Theres also 3/8 to 1 ounce. Pretty confusing. I do use 1/4 and sometimes 3/4 weights Powell Max 3D Casting Rod 7'3" Heavy I have been considering this rod. Let me know what you all think. I would like to keep it to under 150 any brand considered.

I was surprised that brandon palaniuk did so poorly. Someone made a good point about having it in the winter. The lakes arent as loaded with summer recreational boaters ect.

I just pulled the plug on one of these. I needed a shaky head rod aswell. It says fast tip and it better be lol. I own three crucial jig rods and love them.

I actuallly like the villain feel. I do not like the reelseat though. The more traditional reel seat on ikes caught my eye. Plus price is good

yeah i get that but if you look the hook is not in a position where it can be in the fish. With that being said i could be wrong an actually am rooting for him
