I picked up the spiniing rod. balance and guides were both nice. I thought the rod looked really cool aswell. Ijust think the avid x is lighter and 40 bucks cheaper

was just at the toronto fishing show and had one in my hand. Nice rod. But sorry not sure at the price point i would chose it over the avid x. The new megabass crank was there aswell and looks awesome

thanks everyone. I put 4 brakes on it and headed to a psrking lot and got it working really well actually. I couldnt find an open bit of water anywhere thats why i went to a parking lot with a half ounce bell sinker. hopefully the crankbaits cast aswell

It has three set from factory. I put 14 pound mono on it. will put fluor on it when i get it firgured out. I have a decent amount of experience with baitcasters. I can cast my lews tournament mgs with no problem. I thought i would try one of these but its the first one i have owned with brakes like this. I was casting it on a winch

Since there has been a million purchased in the last week i thought i would start a thread on setting the brakes. How many engaged ect. I wondered how many brakes people use for half ounce squarbills. I have backlashed using what it came with

picked up a pro qualifier tonight. question for everyone. Is this spool release button always going to be still or do they loosed up. Mine is really hard to release compared to my lews

I was at mine in canada today. Picked up 4 packs of zoom soft plastics and 3 basspro planos and was out the door. In canada there is a competitor that is cheaper on most things by 10 -20percent all year. Then they have 15 percent off everything in the store this week. I did try to talk myself into a pq but didnt feel nearly as good as my tournament mgs in my hand.

I have a 7 foot medium for dropshot shakey head. I will be putting 7 pound fluoro on it. wondering whether to pair it with a 2500 or 3000 size reel

A question for the people who have been ,. for the arena weigh in do you need to get tickets or is it general admitance.

does anyone have any feedback on these. I bought one and found some open water to try it. I does nothing but come straight forward when jerked. No eratic action at all. I know there are some good reviews but i am not impressed.

I do ice fish a little bit for whitefish. Fishing for bass walleye muskie when they are spawning bedding in canada is closed season. Also considered taboo here. That being said you can run across lake erie to buffalo to fish bass

try living in canada where we are under ice. Then when it melts bass is closed till the last week of june

Looked at the two reels today. I felt the mg was light and less bulky in feel. bb1 felt smoother. I want this rod for cranking and was wondering what lews owners felt about the two
