So I was thinking about getting some jerkbaits but then i remembered somewhere not to use them if the water is not very clear. THE lake that i live in has horrible water clarity and is all green so is it worth a shot to use jerkbaits?

Does anybody know a quality jerk bait used for wintertime? I've heard of Strike King and SPRO but i am not sure what color to use.

Once I was salmon fishing and had a 15,16 pounder on the line. It was a really good fighter until this sea otter just came up and started playing tug a war with me. Unfortunately, the otter won. I wouldn't want to keep it anyways because it had a bunch of teeth marks and had otter spit all over it.lol
