    Right on everyone. Thank you for the info. Definitely think I'll use the 6' for spinner baits. And see how the 6'6" works with poppers in the spring, may use it for Texas rig for now!

    Have a couple rods, 6' GL3 MedHeavy Fast action and a 6'6" GL3 MedHeavy Fast action I've used for all around uses. spinner baits, crank baits, and sometimes jigs and worms depending on where I'm fishing. I was wondering what the general consensus was on purpose for these size rods and what others use them for. working on having all my rods designated for one use so Im not wasting time on the boat switching lures. More time in the strike zone = more hookups....
