1000 Size Reels For Bass
I use a 1000 stradic on a med lt nanoace rod for my Ned rigs. I fish it with 8lb j braid and a 6 or 8lb leader. This setup it perfect and I have pulled in fish a little over 3 lbs with it. 1000 stradic will definitely get the job done!

Risk With Jdm Rods
It depends on what major craft rods you are wanting. TW has major craft nanoace rods in stock. I know a rep for major craft who says some of their more expensive stuff is supposed to be coming over soon. I have two nanoace rods and so far I am happy with them, but I'm looking forward to getting some of their high end stuff

Black Senko
Well its not a yamamoto senko, but keitech makes an all black stick bait. Used it a couple of times with success. It has pretty good action.

Lews Or Shimano 7Ratio Reel
That's a tough question. I have both of those reels and use them regularly. I have been a shimano fan for years but recently started buying lew's. Can't go wrong with shimano, but I find myself using the lews more often. Lew's reels are super smooth and feel really well built. I would probably go with the lew's. At least your decision is between two really good reels.

Mono Or Fluro For Dough Bait Fishing
Dough bait is supposed to float. Im guessing this may be for trout fishing since i dont know anyone who fishes for bass with dough bait. You don't want it all the way on the bottom. That being said, fluorocarbon sinks and so I don't think it would be a wise choice. Usually I will use either braid or fluorocarbon for main line and then a weight followed by mono and dough bait. Usually 2lb and sometimes 4lb but nothing more. Hope this helps.

Jerkbait / Topwater Reel Help Needed
A couple of years ago I bought a lefty reel by mistake (I'm right handed), but soon discovered it was much easier for me to walk top water lures and a jerkbait with. It's just what you prefer. Give it a try if you can. Left handed topwater reel works for me and a couple of others I fish with.

Uptons Customs Shout Out
I have been using uptons for a couple years now. I found his lures because I like buying from smaller local custom people (he's only a couple mIles frim me). Super happy with the quality of these baits. They float really well and are pretty soft. fairly durable and they do smell great. I have caught several 5-6 pounders on these things. I will keep buying more. Probably the best place to find them is TWH.

What's Been The Ticket For You Lately?
In socal i have been getting most of mine on a drop shot lately. to the person who asked about length between weight and worm. The bass where I fish are holding tight to cover on the very bottom or on their beds. I have been using 4-8 inch leader and getting the worm right in their face. Let it sit there and eventually they will hit it.

Who Makes The Lightest Rod?
Take a look at the new Major Craft Nanoace. They are popular in Europe and Asia and just started making their way out here. I have been fishing one of them for a couple months now and so far so good. It is super light and they retail for about $120. TWH is gonna start carrying them soon from what I hear.

Line Preference On Spinning Reels
Braid to fluorocarbon is the best. I have tried power pro, izorline, sufix, and a couple others. I picked up some stren sonic braid about 2 months ago because it was on sale and so far it has been great, probably my favorite. Doesn't twist on my spinning gear and the color has been holding up very well. You need to either use a backing of mono or fluorocarbon or ring that came with the reel. If not the braid can, and probably will, start sliding around on the reel when you are reeling something in. I use an improved albright knot for the braid to fluorocarbon and it has never let me down. Hope this helps.
