  1. Glenn Springs is tough tough to fish offshore. I've tried it and you have to fight through some heavy brush just to get to the shore. The grass makes it a challenge too. Nearly every retrieve comes back with the grass. I'm in the same situation as you- looking for any advice on how to fish Glenn Springs from the shore. The rocky dam had some promise, but I do not think I had the right bait. I was throwing crawdad crankbait in January, with zero luck.
  2. Best I've done at Grove is with a pumpkin rage tail on a football head, black and blue skirt - but that was in cold water. I just have not been out there much since the weather has warmed up. That's why I was hoping to get out and try the white crankbait. I will take the advice on a BlueGill crankbait and give it a try as well.
  3. Morning- sadly I did not get out to Grove yesterday as expected. Just curious though, where is 'daycare'?
  4. Headed to Grove to try a new color- anyone had any luck with Pearl or White crankbait? Trying out a new (to me) Curado on a crankin stick as well. I'll post if I catch anything.
  5. Was thinking of heading to Grove after work today. Where did you fish this morning?
