  1. Thanks for the tip! In the peace river is best just to free line the live bait with a sinker or actually jig and drag? I know that catching a DD is gonna be tough but anything bigger than a 5.2 lbs would be very interesting! Thank you for the tip once again.
  2. Hello everyone! I'm here in North Port, Florida on vacation and I'm in need of some fishing advice from the locals! I'm from Minnesota and a regular bass fisherman there and this is the first time I've attempted to do freshwater fishing here! I know that I'm around a great saltwater fishery but Ive been doing that everyday since I've been here! I'd like to know if there are some spots around North Port or Specific canals I'd be able to fish and get some production! The friends at home been teasing me to post some bass pictures instead of these salt water fishes. Sadly, due to me being on vacation here once a year to visit my dad! I don't feel like investing in a casting nor spinning set up! So I'm stuck with using ugly sticks and Walmart poles my dad has bought for fishing! Beggars can't be choosers, wish I'd stick one of my set ups In a rod tube before coming here! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I will be here till this coming up Thursday! My goal is to catch a DD! My biggest in MInnesota is 5.2! It's hard to get 6+ Pounders up there!
