  1. Yes, I get what you are saying about technically being a mono (single) filament line, but made up of multiple polymer resins. Thanks for the help - sorry I was continuing to investigate while, at the same time asking the question on here. I got my info from a KVD post..
  2. Thanks. I did go a little further in my investigation and found that while mono. lines float, making it ideal for topwater, co-polymers do not float, they have greater abrasion resistance, and increased knot strength and less spool memory.. I'm not sure if the flourcarbon coating of the P-Line CX makes it as invisible as a full flouro, (probably not) but it may help some. I was actually hoping it floated because, if it did, I wanted to use it between the weight and hook on a Carolina rig - liking the knot strength and flouro coating - and I have a lot of it.
  3. Yes, I got that. What is a co-poly? How does it differ in make-up (construction) to a mono?
  4. This question started with my quest to find out if the co polymer P-line CX floats. While checking, some were referring to this line as a mono filament with a fluorocarbon coating. I know it has a flouro coating, but underneath that coating is it a mono; or Is a co polymer a completely different animal. Of course, it would still be nice to know if P-line CX floats, as well.
