  1. i have heard good things about the alumacraft boats. i found a 2008 bass tracker pro 175 for 9000 on craigslist so hopefully it will be mine in a couple of days
  2. i agree with all of you because but some of the people have boats. for me i want to fish more than i do having to tie on different lures on 1 or 2 rods its a waste of time. even when i am in the back woods fish large ponds i take all my setups i have a rod quiver and it allows me to carry 10 rods plus with me whether i am on a boat or walking through the woods to get to backwaters
  3. i fish large lakes such as lake hickory, lake james, lake lure located in western north carolina they are big lakes. i know some about boats just looking for some opinions on what some good ones are. i was think of a bass tracker 175 pro but idk yet and my budget is around 8500
  4. i have gotten this question mostly from other anglers. the guys who carry only 1 or 2 setups
  5. new to boats and am looking for a good boat that is good for a beginner i know i want something that is 14ft at least or maybe a little bigger nothing bigger than a 16ft though i was thinking maybe a bass tracker or javalin. any advice is welcomed.
  6. for me i have 10 setups and a military assault pack full of tackle because i am a lure junkie and like to have multiple options in multiple colors because i fish muddy to really clear water.
  7. my top buzzbaits are a black cavitron with red blade and the humdinger with chartreuse and blue skirt with the blue blade. all black is also really good like the war eagles and i always go with a 3/8 oz
  8. if you are looking for a quality rod abu garcia vengeance, veritas, sellus are really good and affordable also as for reel lews, abu garcia pro max and silver max, daiwa laguna. check out ***.com there you can search for rods based on price range and length. catfish setups i would go to with abu garcia 5600 rcx reel they are my personal favorite for catfishing matched with a 7'6 medium heavy or heavy rod and i use 30 pound spiderwire braid with a 20lb flurocarbon leader or wire leader for muskies.
  9. "LOOKING FOR OPINIONS" i have been asked so many times on why do people carry so many setups when bass fishing and why do we have so many lures in our tackle boxes.
  10. looking for some new places to fish at in the coming season i live in Morganton nc and looking for some good places to fish from shore at. does anyone have any recommendations i am interested in places to fish from shore at lake Norman, lake Rhodhiss, and other places in this part of the state.
