  1. I wouldn't stash them away so quick. They do work well. I've fished them weightless and had great results. They produced strikes when nothing else would work.
  2. I fish them the way you described as well... Twitch, twitch, pause. I haven't tried them any other way just yet. I may experiment with a different rigging style this year.
  3. I started out bringing the whole house with me and it got frustrating. It got to a point where I would leave my tackle in one place... Stopped that when my line broke and everything was on the other side of the pond. As some said, you'll start leaving things that wasn't used during your trips. I've narrowed it down to 1-2 Plano 3650's and around five bags of soft plastics (depending on pond). Box 1: Hooks, sinkers, top water lures, spinner bait, crank bait, pliers, scissors Box 2: Lizards, ribbon tail worms, craws, senkos (multiple colors of each) Individual soft plastic packs include: Flukes, trick worms, and frogs Soon, I'll get a bigger Plano and transfer some things so that there will be no separate packs of soft plastics to carry around and it'll be two Plano boxes only.
  4. The weather finally hit the 70's here about three weeks ago for a few days. I decided to go out and test my luck... A lot of 1-2 lb. fish were biting and a few 3-4 lb. fish were caught. I'll probably head out tomorrow or Thursday and try it again.
  5. I always go to a Beetle Spin when the bite is tough. I keep them around at all times.
  6. Hello Bass Resource Members, I discovered this forum last month and finally had time to join. It seems like a great group of individuals here and I would Love to be a part of it and share my knowledge as well as learn for future trips. I'm Joe, I've been fishing since my early teenage years. I'm currently 27 and started Bass Fishing around four years ago. At the moment, I fish private ponds, but I'm looking to visit more Public Fishing Areas this year. Hopefully, I'll meet some new people along the way and become more successful on the water as well. Joe
