  1. New to the site. I have a wife and 8 month old son who are my world. I live in Rome Georgia, I grew up in central Indiana I am big time bass fisherman. I target big fish don't much care about numbers unless I am touranment fishing, I love the bigger largemouth down here but I miss the smallmouth I caught til moved down here almost 12 years ago. I have an obsession with jigs and soft plastics it makes up probably 90-95% of my fishing.
  2. Hey man I live in northwest Georgia not far from guntersville the bass here are still prespawn and with temps below freezing the next two nights I douubt that will change much lots of bucks up in inches of water but not on bed yet just looking and eating like crazy. Caught one last weekend had an eaten crawdad coming his vent and a half swallowed bluegill in his gullet and still tryed to eat my plastic crawdad. Work the edges of the grass and tops of ledges into the flats for the big females right now they are eating too!! Already caught 3 over 8 and one over 10 so far this year and outside of one in January all have came since the first of march. No tips on eating places usually don't stay when I go over there if I eat its usually a McDonald's drive thru.
