  1. The lake is 8-miles long, and its widest part is abount 1-mile.There are alot of coves around the lakeAnd most of the campsites are on the west side of lake. The park(west side&southern-end) has very nice boat docks. There are alot of boat lauches around lake. The dam(southern end) is aout 25-30 feet deep but majority of lake is somewhere between 5-8 feet deep.I would say it is a walleye, pike lake. But they have alot of weed-beds through-out summer all around lake. The lake has unlimited hp for boats, and has alot of people through out the warm weather,(jet-skis,water skis, etc) The lake is a muddy color, perhaps because of the activity there. You should go early, because there are so many areas to bass fish along the shores,(boat is a must).nothern end of lake has a protected zone for wild-life,but rt 88 crosses lake and has the best chance i think to fish shore areas for bass.(alot of nice weed beds, cover areas logs, stumps etc.Good luck, and they dont call it Mosquito for nothing.................
