Hawgmaster: When I needed a plug for my floating turd, I measured across the ID of the plug opening and then went to my local boat supply shop and bought a 5/8" plug. They usually design these plugs for live wells and such. I removed the whole assembly and took it in to be sure. They showed me how to adjust it and it fit like a glove.

Just purchased a beat up 9 foot older faded, sun cracked, cracked hull, I think it's a Pond Prowler floating turd. What I need is a seat bracket. The one I have is 26" across and fits in the grooves nice and snug. If anyone knows where I can get another for a good deal I would much appreciate it. The boat is kept on a private pond and I don't worry too much about what she looks like as long as she floats, I only paid $30 for her. I leave the boat at the pond so others can use it and enjoy the great bass fishing. So as you can tell I don't want to invest a lot of money on this one but would like another seat. Any ideas or information on where I could get one of these brackets? I have seen the ones at Bass Pro Shops for $39 plus $8 plus shipping. I don't wish to spend that much on this boat.
