  1. Good Luck! I'm headin' out early in the AM also....top water for sure.
  2. I have the Bass Hunter - nearly exactly as the Pelican - had a small crack in the right rear corner. Sanded it down with 80 grit, patched it with marine epoxy then one coat of J.B.Weld, then sprayed with a couple coats of rubberized paint - good as new. It's great for smaller bodies of water, shoreline fishing on small / mid size lakes, I've caught hundreds and hundreds of fish off this rig - highly recommend as a back up watercraft. Fits perfectly in the back of my truck also. I have hauled it on my riding mower trailer once or twice, great little boat for those quick half-day outings, very enjoyable indeed. Glad to see others using these.
  3. Trying to find out the name of these. Top water, skims across the surface in a zig-zag motion, totally weedless, great over lily pads and float-sum. Found 'em at a flea market for $1.00 each, no package. Thanks Yellow Green
  4. Great forum! Been a lurker forever, decided to sign up. I live in the panhandle area of Florida and fish mostly ponds, small / mid size lakes, using a modded 1476 Jon or the Bass Hunter Pelican, equipped with a 55lb thrust TM. Again, great site, full of ideas and refresher knowledge!
