I'm looking for a new frog rod. I Can't decide between the duckett ghost 7'3" heavy, or the zx frog rod. I have heard the the zx heavy feels like a medium heavy. Is it going to be strong enough to pull bass out of heavy pads and mats?

My new shimano seems to have a tough spot when I reel it. It's easy to reel and then there's one spot that it tightens up a little bit. Will this go away or should I exchange it for another one?

It was though tackle warehouse so I will be able to return it. What do you think about the Calcutta B series? Is it worth the extra 80 bucks?

I just got a new Cardiff 300a in the mail. I was going to use it for swimbaits. Right out of the box it wasn't smooth at all and made a bunch of noise. When I shake the reel I can hear stuff moving around inside. Is this normal?

Until I get my swimbait rod I will be using my frog rod to throw swimbaits. Should I tie a leader onto the braid? If so, what line should I use? I will be throwing ROF 0 and 5
