Thanks for the advice. I went with the 320 and spent the difference in lures.

I am buying my first fish finder this weekend. It will be mounted on a 15 ft jon boat and used in small lakes and ponds. These areas are very weedy with some grass on top and lots of thick weed beds 1-2 feet below the surface. Most of the areas are less than 10 ft deep. I am considering the following: Lowrance X96 Eagle 320 Eagle 480 Once again I have never used a fish finder and would appreciate any advice I can get.
