The rod butt I cut is .527 & the butt cap I ordered is .500

What do I use to ream the butt cap, I ordered the .500 Eva cap the rod is .527

It's a finished rod, I already had, just that the butt section was to long, stuck out past my forearm

It's for large & small mouth bass, one piece, jigging, spin jig, mb, variety $100-$150 range

Do I need to put a finish over the winding check? Don't have any & no wrapper or dryer stand

What rod blanks do u like to build on for bass? What would be a high end blank that won't break the bank

What's the pricing on the Eternity2 blanks

Cut the rod/butt caps off today with hacksaw & tape, ordered 2 new Eva butt caps, winding checks & pro-paste. Cut 2.75" off

Forhan/ locking wrap or just normal wrap

I did not start building yet, probably going to wait until winter, the 2 rods I just got, the butt sticks passed my elbow & the Eva catches my cloths like u said above, looks like I just have to cut butt caps off & reinstall new ones

What type of blade on the miter saw

Finished rod spilt grip, the butt is longer than my other rods, it sticks out past my elbow & I don't like it, wanted to shorten it

If u have a rod that the butt is about 2-3" longer than u like can u cut it & install a new butt. If so what would be the best way to cut it off

For spinning, do u wrap them normal or do u have to wrap them like micro guides, except for the both 2 guides the rest are small

Where can I find a new spool

Tried changing bearings on a BB1SHZL & the pin would not come out, destroyed the pin & also the shaft & Boca pliers are broke. Can I get a new shaft which looks like it is pressed in or do I need a whole spool replacement, any help or links would be appreciated Thanks Bill
