  1. I used fusion hooks last season, great hooks. No complains. Dont be afraid to buy some. Good tournament hooks
  2. Depends what you are fishing from. From shore i like 6'6 from boat 7ft
  3. Sorry for my ignorance, but can you explain that trump card comment. Im lost but interested
  4. There is no set proper leader length, its a matter of preference. Some people like short leader, i use 10ft leaders. For flippin id use no leader
  5. Its one of my go to hooks. i use it for weedless keitechs, senkos and for flippin craws. Great product. Just easy on the drag, its not a real beefy hook
  6. The zodias 7'3 heavy- modfast is were its at for jigs. You can swing home and has tons of power
  7. I use mod- fast for my jig rods. It helps get a good hookset in that i can put all my force into it without ripping the bait out of its mouth. And also helps me keep him pinned during the fight
  8. Its digging in, stealth does that. Buy some 50lb braid and call it a day
  9. Except gycb catches way more fish. Facts
  10. I did it that way for years, and will do it again if i had to. Spinning gear can do anything casting can. Just a matter of preference.
  11. Just get a shimano sienna and call it a day
  12. I bought a new sienna and at its price i beleive its the best reel around. But i rather buy the nasci over the ultrega at that price
  13. I was fishing in a creek, i got a bite and set the hook on a bass that looked around 2 pounds. As i was about to grab it out of the water a snake comes out of the water and grabs it from the tail. RIP bass, i wasnt gonna fight that snake. I watched helplessly as dragged it into the water, later i saw the snake appear with the bass in its mouth on the other side of the creek and ate it.
  14. These suck, dont buy them. They dont catch fish, buy the banjo minnows instead
  15. I saw a couple videos on it, its basically the swimbait reeinvented. Actually, its basically just a regular old swimbait. I dont know why but i actually want to buy it. I like the profile of it and the plastic head and rattles on the hook. Maybe the ads did their job and hooked me instead of the fish. My wallet is ready
  16. d**n, are you using the new skeet reese 20ft rods?
  17. Someone makes them and sells them on ebay for around $40. Maybe you could make it for less money but you save time
  18. I have a wild orange, great rod and whein i broke it they gave me great service. Overall im happy and will probably buy another
  19. Im glad this forum has no political talk rules. This forum would be a disaster without those rules.
  20. Hope it all works out fot him. I lost a tooth last week to a jig. I thought it was hung up, pulled on it and next thing i know... Pow! Right in the sucker
  21. Crucial and zodias are the best rods ive ever used hands down. In the near future my whole line up will consist of those 2 rods
  22. Its a great reel. i have 2, they always make every trip. I have the 6 ratio but for what you mentioned id get the 7
  23. I use it for spinner baits, keitechs, chatterbaits and texas rigs. I only payed $80 for it. At that price i love it. Better than my lexa. And way better than my caenan
  24. Great rods. All my rods used to be falcons. Never had a problem with them. I really like the bucoos and the cara
