  1. What model of Plano box do I need to store large baits like spinners and buzzbaits? I would really like it if I could find one that was in the 3700 size. Right now I'm using a couple 3700 thins (pictured below) to hold all my other tackle but the spinners and buzzbaits obviously won't fit because of the pre-molded horizontal rows. I carry my tackle in an old backpack so using those super deep rack-style spinner boxes isn't very practical for me.
  2. I think I must be in the minority here but I've never even had a bite on a senko. I've tried fishing them like they show you to in the videos and nothing. Maybe they don't like the color on mine or something. I've tried four different ponds with no luck. Usually give up after an hour or so and switch back to a minnow/spoon/spinner.
  3. Do you cinch that knot all the way down to the ring or do you leave a loop in it like in the video? Admittedly I don't know anything about knots but it would seem to me if you were going to leave a loop in the line like that you might as well just use a snap.
  4. Awesome, thanks for the tip!
  5. This is exactly what I do. Three medium sized boxes and one small one for my rooster tails.
  6. Added two spinners, two buzzbaits, a zora spook, and one baby bass popper to round out the tackle box a little better. That should have me covered on the top water a little better at least.
  7. I just recently got back into fishing after nearly a decade of only fishing maybe once a year. I'm rebuilding my tackle box from the ground up (and my rods and reels but that's a whole other topic). Basically, what you see in the picture below is everything I've got right now. The only things not pictured are a couple stringers, a multi-tool, and a small first aid kit. These are mostly old lures that were still serviceable and assorted snap swivels, hooks, and weights (plus a selection of plastic worms of questionable vintage). I live in central Kentucky so all my fishing is either ponds, lakes, or rivers/creeks. Mostly I fish for bass and bluegill but I'm pretty close to Lake Cumberland which has "a wide variety of fish from crappie, bream, walleye, trout, spoonbill catfish, and a variety of bass such as largemouth, smallmouth, white, Kentucky or rock bass." Primarily I fish for bass though. What am I missing from my tackle box and what essentials would you suggest I add?
