So I have been meaning to post this a while now and have finally gotten around to it but last year a week after Thanksgiving I was fishing at Appling Lake in Bartlett. Caught a few bass on really soft bites and then I felt a slight bump and set the hook on this monster using a red crawfish rattle trap.

Anyone been to Herb Parsons Lake? My Father in law wants to go there tomorrow while he is in town. And as seeing how I'm still not familiar with the area since I've moved back to Memphis I was wondering if anyone has any thing good to say?

Hey guys Im back in Memphis now. When I originally posted here I was job searching from moving to colorado and took a job in jackson but now I'm here in Memphis with a even newer and better job and plan on staying in the area. So if anyone is up to go some weekend let me know.

Hey guys I just move here this past week from Colorado. If you got any good places for me to try let me know or if you want a fishing buddy for the day that would be cool too. Unfortunately I had to leave my little boat back home with my dad so my opportunity for any larger lakes are limited. If any of you do a bit of fly fishing for bass around here I'm so up for someone showing me a few tips for that too! Back home its all about the trout and I'm tired of it been fishing mostly for them my whole life. Y'all can call me Drew also.

Has anyone tried the pond on the north side of I-40 near Covington Pike? Looks like its next to some Mulch piles and has a Barge in it on the N. side? You would have to have 4x4 to get to it unless you wanna walk from what looks like a small parking area off of covington pike. Or is it private cause the road is pretty rutted up it looked like from the interstate but I do got the truck to get through there as long as the mud ruts are not too deep.

Hey guys I just moved here from colorado and I still don't know the area very well except I do know of the pond behind kroger/autozone. Its a pretty close drive to where I live now. Basically I'm just wondering if anyone wants to go hit a few ponds this weekend and show me a few places to throw a line in. Catch and release of course. All of my wife's friends husbands don't fish, so I have no fishing buddy's here. Sacrilege I know but in the future I'm hoping to change them of that habit.
