Hey guys! First Ill start off with an small introduction, yea I know I could have posted in the 'introduction' section, but I figured this would be a better way of meeting more people around me and getting more locals to see it. Ill also state Im aware of the thread here, http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/41660-for-us-kc-area-guys-fishing-reports/Ill have to do some reading through it and see if I can find any valuable information! Im from Michigan originally, use to live on a nice lake called 'Lake Lobdell', sure do miss it too! Instant fishing in my backyard. Not anymore, I now live in Kansas, moved here when I was 12, I used to fish daily, but when I moved out here, I had no lake access didnt know what to do or where to go to get the fish, no ride, etc, so I kind of just dropped the whole hobby, and only recently got back into fishing, and I'm absolutely LOVING it! My name is Jacob, Im 20 years old, and I also work at Bass Pro Shops. I mainly like to bass fish, but I also like to do catfishing and crappie fishing, Id like to try fishing for wiper and even walleye. A few people I've talked to in my checkout line have pointed me to this website, so Ive decided to make an account and join up. If I remember correctly, I believe there is a guy here named 'Chris S.' who I spoke to specifically in my checkout line. Unfortunately I fish off the bank, and although I've had some pretty nice catch's so far, Its still cruddy, sitting on the bank watching people fly by on boats, or cruising with the trolling motor on, lol! One day Ill have a boat, Im just so restricted and feel like I have a difficult time finding the fish on foot. Anyhow, Im happy to have joined up and I hope to meet some nice locals and gather good information and learn alot from everything this awesome site seems to offer! If you guys have any tips or even some spots you'd recommend for some nice bank fishing around the area, Itd be greatly appreciated, Im not looking for your honeyholes..all I want to do is just catch fish and have fun..!! Hope to hear back from some of you guys, fish on.
