The most I have done is 6 and they arrived with no problem. I used a pvc pipe, packed bubble wrap in the ends, and glued the ends with pvc caps. Had the cut the tops off but have had rods dissappear from ups warehouse before so figured it is well worth it.

Awesome memory and mount. Thanks for sharing. I have some photos of fish with measurements I hope to convert to a mount one day.

If they swallow the lure and I think there is no way of removing it, I generally cut the line and let her go. I caught a fish a while back that had a spook Jr on its way out the fish's rear end, so it looks like they are able to pass them through.
