Hello everybody. I am an avid bowhunter for deer and turkey and enjoyed fishing from time to time. My son is 9 and managed to catch a largemouth bass on Rabbit lake last summer and just cant seem to get enough of it now. So I figured I better start learning more about actually bass fishing. I have been reading the articles, forum topics and watching the various videos on this page and it has been a huge help so far so thanks for all the information. The bank fishing videos were very good because at the moment we dont have a boat. I do have a question, anyone in the St. Paul MN area that could suggest some lakes in the area that would have some good bank fishing for bass? At this point my son is not going to care about the size of the bass just as long as he has a chance to catch something and we can get some good experience.
