was also looking at the ion cams- you guys say the virb is better? has anyone used these geco cams? my nephew just got me one- it's tiny!

another possible way is keep extra battery packs with you if the cam can charge while recording

Zoom trick worm- black or bruised banana.

Be prepared to wait a while- I usually don't hook anything till about 2 hours after dusk. Complete darkness is best but it is good to familiarize yourself with the water before dark (different hues etc). Also look out for signs of a storm.
