I just got the St. Croix Mojo Bass spinnerbait rod with a lews seed spool LFS. Great combo. The rod is $110 I think but it's well worth it. For a more sensitive tip with back bone, try the mojo bass plastics.
I've been watching these videos on YouTube of these guys fishing on golf course ponds and catching some hogs. I'm pretty sure they are in like Florida or Georgia and that's quite a ways away from Minnesota. I was wondering how you even find out if there are fish in golf course ponds and if any of you guys have tried it.
I'm headed up north in a week and will be fishing in pretty clear water. I was hoping to flip at some docks for smallmouth or largemouth. Anyone have any tips for clear water dock fishing or just clear water fishing?
Recently put 10# mono on one of my baitcasters. In the past mono hasn't worked very well for me on a baitcaster. I was thinking of using it for cranking and plastics. Just wondering what you guys think, braid or mono for what I'm using it for?
I'm headed up to the whitefish chain of lakes here in MN. I was wondering if anyone has any info or reports on how they are doing for smallies or LMB. Specifically Lower whitefish, trout, rush or cross lake. Thanks
I just ordered my first Huddleston swimbait and I got the 68 top hook. I've heard of people riding it with a stinger and I was going to do the butch brown rig. If there is any other way to rig the 68 I'd be happy to hear it!
