  1. I just got my 10E and got a 27 series deep cycle for my trolling motor. Also have a fish finder. Can I hook both of the fish finder and trolling motor directly to the battery? I don't know much about all that. My first boat so I am just trying to figure out how to set that up. If anyone could explain or post a picture of how your fish finder and motor is connected to battery that would be great. Need to figure out by Sunday night.
  2. How long would I be able to be out fishing in one of these with just a trolling motor? And are there things that you can have on board to keep your battery charged if it were to die? I am thinking about buying one here in the next couple months and was just wondering if I would need to get a small outboard to go with it. Don't want to spend that kind of money if I don't have to. Also, would I be able to take it out on a good sized lake?
  3. Tequila Sunrise YUM curly tail worm. Wasn't paying attention and my line had disappeared! That's what I found on the end of it!
  4. Good deal. Anyone ever use chatterbaits? I just recently bought a couple but have yet to try them. Good or bad for this hot muggy weather? And do you roll them in steadily or crank them like a jig or what?
  5. Yea there is never a time that I don't have a jig tied on one of my rigs. I have had catches at all times on a Booyah Baby Boo jig and rage tail baby craw trailer. There hasn't been a time when I have been out fishing that I haven't caught anything on one of those. If you are a jig fisher, I assure you that they won't disappoint. You can swim it or bounce it off the bottom or whatever and I bet you catch fish the majority of the day no matter the weather. I just need to expand my techniques and would like to master the topwater game. Try those Booyah jigs out though. They're affordable too! I stay stocked up at all times!
  6. I have never had any luck with topwater lures. I stay true to my jigs most of the time but when the jig fishing is slow I need some more things to go to. Topwater looks like it would be awesome to catch lots of fish on but I just haven't had much luck at all. Maybe I'll look into some to buy. Any suggestions?
  7. What is your GO TO lure when it is in the peak of summer and temps are 90-105 degrees on a daily basis? Is it ever worth being out in the heat, or best to go really early or late evening?
  8. I use the Booyah Baby Boo jigs with a rage tail baby craw trailer and there hasn't been a single time I have been out and not caught anything. I stay stocked on them at all times. Hands down the best lure/jig I have ever used. I highly recommend them in green pumpkin. You won't be disappointed.
