  2. After putting the reel on a rod and tightening the spool tension knob, the problem seems to have gone away! Thanks a ton for the suggestions! As I said above, the problem seems to have gone away, but if it recurs I will definitely try this. Thanks!
  3. No I'm just reeling it in my hand I haven't put it on a rod yet. Would putting it on a rod make a difference?
  4. Thank you for your suggestion. It did not seem to fix the problem though. As I said there is no audible noise just a slight vibration in the reel when cranking quickly. It's very slight but it bothers me.
  5. Hi all! I just bought a new 201I and I noticed that during hard cranking I feel a slight vibration throughout the reel. There is no audible sound when cranking and the problem goes away or is at least unnoticeable when the spool is removed. Any ideas what's causing it and is it a big deal? Thanks for looking!
