    Hello guys new to the forum. Went out fishing with father in law last week and caught my first Bass. I bought a cheap R2F, ready to fish combo, at Walmart. I didn't think I would enjoy going out fishing with father in law, but I'm hooked. I'm looking at buying a decent setup. For a reel Stradic CI4+ 2500 or 3000? I like the added spool yardage you get on 3000. For rod Avid X 7' Medium Fast or G Loomis E6X Medium Fast? I mainly will do fresh water fishing but ocassionally will do salt water as I live on the coast. Please help with setup appreciate the input!
