  1. Figured I could count on you to reply! You helped me decide on my first "high end" spinning rod - the sjr783 glx. Thanks for your input!
  2. Good evening! This isn't exactly my first post, but it's been several years since I've posted and I can't access the old school email I used almost 10 years ago to register. Since then I've still been a regular reader of the site and YouTube videos. I posted this same topic on a different forum since there really isn't much information about the rod I purchased, but I'm sure there's some member overlap. Anyway... I recently purchased an edge black widow 703 (medium light) and am debating which Stella to pair it with. There's not a whole lot of information out there on the black widow rods, especially the spinning versions. I will mostly be using the rod/reel to catch river SMB/LMB. A lot of times I'll use weightless worms, fat ikas, or whatever else is working that day. I currently have an nrx 852s with stella 2500 that's an awesome combo...got the edge 703 for something a little lighter in action, but mostly just to add something a little different to the tool box. So my question is, should I just get another Stella 2500? Or should I go with the smaller c2000s? I'm not worried about the c2000s being able to handle the fish I catch as they aren't monsters, but mostly want to pair the right size reel to the rod. Thanks in advance for any replies!
