I actually went fishing with a couple of friends once and one guy had a Strike King toad T-rigged with a 1/2 ounce weight. We all joked with him for a while until he got 5 over 2 pounds in an hour with it.
Good stuff, I'll go ahead and have to grab a pack. Other than Texas rigging, I had figured rage rigging it around laydowns and buzzing it on top through grass like a pit boss could be productive so I'm glad to see that's worked for yall.
What is your favorite way to fish a spoon such as Johnson silver minnow? Hopping, steady retrieve, etc? Trailer or no trailer? Preferred water clarity?
Is there any locations in Ocala National Forest open to shore fishing? I've read online you can wade fish in the creeks but based on the amount of gators I've seen in the surrounding bodies of water I'm not really sold on that.
